Great Value Monitor Shines for Home Use
This monitor offers incredible value for the price. It’s truly impressive how well it adjusts to the surrounding lighting. This feature is particularly beneficial for home use, where we often have less control compared to an office setting, where desk lights are usually available. At home, you might find yourself sitting near a window, and as the clouds move, the brightness in the room can fluctuate. Even with ceiling lights, sunlight is generally much brighter, and this monitor excels in those conditions.I don’t think the monitor simply adjusts brightness; I believe it also adjusts contrast and other settings in tandem as the screen dims or brightens. For instance, I usually have it set in standard mode, coding mode, or eye care mode. This way, I rarely need to manually adjust the settings. I have not felt the need to change the contrast or colors during usage. However, the speakers are very poor quality. They are virtually useless, and I wish the manufacturer had opted to exclude them altogether, as they are an environmental waste. Additionally, a more adjustable monitor stand would have been a welcome improvement. There is a Dell monitor that is quite similar with the same contrast ratio and superior speakers and stand. While the image clarity is comparable, it lacks the brightness sensor found in this monitor. If you prioritize eye care and the brightness sensor, I recommend this monitor. On the other hand, if sound clarity and a more robust stand are more importantâor if you lack a monitor mountâthen the Dell might be a better choice. I believe both monitors fall within a similar price range. I originally purchased this one for $200, but have since noticed it is now priced around $150. At the time, the Dell was priced at $150.It’s also worth noting that they offer a programming series monitor with significantly better hardware. However, the color space on this monitor is quite basic, which I see as an advantage since much of the internet is designed around this color space. In contrast, the programming monitors support a wider color range, like DCI-P3. I initially tried a programming monitor and appreciated its features, but I don’t believe it’s worth five to six times the price of this monitor, which offers about 80 to 90 percent of the performance.I’m amazed by the advancements in monitor technology. I only wish they would produce a 32-inch model or at least explore other aspect ratios. A 16:10 ratio would have been ideal, but they currently only offer a 16:9 option. There is a programming monitor available in a 3:2 ratio, so I hope they eventually release a 3:2 monitor utilizing these technologies.Until the issues associated with OLED monitors, such as burn-in, are resolved, I see this monitor as a solid mid-range option. Mini LED technology provides excellent brightness, but lacks built-in eye care features. Overall, while this monitor is strong in most aspects, it could be greatly improved by removing the subpar speakers. If the cost of the speakers were allocated to a more adjustable stand, the monitor would be outstanding.Given the low price of $150, I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect features like a docking station or integrated power delivery. While I doubt they could incorporate a 65-watt or 90-watt USB-C power delivery system, a direct USB-C port would have been a nice addition. In conclusion, I highly recommend this monitor. It is fantastic and earns five stars from me, despite the minor quirks I mentioned.

I got this monitor to pair with my MacBook Pro for photo & video editing â and honestly, Iâm loving it. The 2K screen is sharp and the colors look right on point. One thing I really like is the little sensor in front â it adjusts the brightness based on my room light. Pretty cool when working day or night.Sound-wise? Built-in speakers arenât great, so I just plug in my own â problem solved.Hooking it up to the MacBook was simple with a Type-C to HDMI cable. For this price, if youâre editing photos and video or doing casual work or casual gaming , Iâd say go for it. Just maybe not for serious gamers.

I bought this for office use. I joined a new company which involves a lot of reading and reviewing and writing, and there is not a lot of things that I can add to the characteristics of this monitor which hasn’t already been mentioned by other reviewers. But you won’t regret it if your target is saving your eyes and you need good resolution and all the goodies that you expect from a budget monitor.Someone has complained. Not complained but good quality speakers. But at this price point this is expected and it does what it’s supposed to do. The sound is not bad. It’s not the best but it’s not bad either. Just does the job.It has a very nice feature of reminding you to take a break after 30 minutes and it has ambient lighting sensor which can adjust the brightness of the monitor. It’s a good purchase
