Absolutely gorgeous, WOW
There were some issues with USPS. AMAZON reshipped, and held onto the package till my door, it’s in mint condition. This is my first OLED, I had the older crg9 with the lighting zones. Let me tell you, thus screen is INCREDIBLE. You never notice all the messed up colors due to backlighting, elite dangerous and star citizen are GORGEOUS. the blacks are like nothing I have ever seen. Contrast has a whole new meaning to me now. The upgrade from 100 hertz to 240 is also mind blowing. Best monitor I’ve ever had. The screen is GIANT so be sure that your desk has 3-4 feet of room. For the price i got this, it’s far more than worth it. The monitor is really easy tu adjust and is extremely thin compared to my older crg9. Just buy that dang thing.

Beautiful monitor, may have some minor issues with VESA mounting
Update: the new monitor I received as a replacement didn’t have them at issue. It works well, no issues no dead pixels. Perfect hardware condition. OLED is really nice, very vibrant.First monitor: Beautiful monitor but it’s unbelievably crappy quality control which has been the standard from Samsung recently. This is very disappointing as I have purchased many Samsung monitors over the years. I work in IT and have unboxed countless monitors over the years. This one has a major issue where the Vesa mount screws do not line up with the drill holes beneath the plastic. It is not mountable. I am returning it and hoping that the next one does not have this issue. Really disappointed.

The most incredible monitor I have ever seen
I had to write a review, after getting this monitor into my house. I had been on the fence about it, there were some not great reviews about quality and other things. But, after I got mine, I am really happy with it, and it truly is the most incredible monitor I have EVER seen. First, the quality is perfect on my monitor. There is not a single visible bad pixel. The monitor is HEAVY and solid, and comes with a large sturdy base to hold it up. But, the most amazing thing is the size. It is just so much bigger than your imagination expects. I had two monitors side by side and expected it to replace that spot, but they were 20″ monitors, and this is MUCH bigger than those two.The inputs and options are impressive. The menu control is pretty terrible but it does the job. Its a little nub of a joystick you control on the back of the monitor by reaching around underneath. The monitor has good speakers built in that work okay for games, but honestly I still prefer headphones. It has options to use this monitor as two, if you need that, rather than one large monitor, but I never tried that, there was no point my video card has no issues with this monitor (RTX4090).All in all, while this is expensive, if you have as much invested in the PC and video card as I do then this is absolutely worth it. The monitor is how you use and how you see your PC. Why not have something that makes it look as amazing as possible? I am so happy I bought this, I have not had a minute of buyer’s remorse except when the box arrived and it is like 5′ long, and I pulled out the panel and saw the sheer size of this thing for the first time. I worried it wouldn’t fit on my desk. But, it did, and I have been happy since.

Read this BEFORE you buy…
If you are using this monitor with more than one input (especially a laptop) as well as a gaming PC, read this!I use my monitor for both work and gaming with 2 machines. My Corsair One for gaming works perfectly with this monitor with no issues. My laptop however was a nightmare to get to “work” with this monitor. The Samsung support is absolutely terrible. First, you’ll get NO instruction or setup booklet when the monitor is delivered. It just shows you how to basically unpack it and “plug it in”. Your laptop will likely NOT work out of the box if it’s a work-grade laptop (not for gaming). I googled and watched a lot of youtube videos just to get the basics to work. I called Samsung multiple times and was told a lot of misinformation (buy a Thunderbolt C cable, do this, do that…). Finally they setup a ticket for someone to come onsite to my home and “fix” it. I was told they would be here within 24-48 hours and to answer my phone as they will close tickets if you don’t. No one ever called and after 10 days they just “cancelled” the ticket stating it had the wrong information on it. Typical. You’re completely on your own to figure all this out.If you’re in a situation like mine, know that you’ll need to use your HDMI and that you only have 1. So the idea of splitting your screen can get really tricky. To even make your HDMI work with your laptop so the screen doesn’t compress, you need to go to the setup on the monitor itself and in the Menu, so to System, then PC/AV – choose AV. You may also have to change the Display Port Ver to 1.4 instead of 2.0. Everyone’s situation will be different of course depending on your laptop. This at least made my laptop using HDMI usable, but it shrinks the screen size down to ~27″. You won’t be able to use the full 49″ view.I bought this monitor primarily for gaming, but still have to use it for work as well. You’ll be disappointed in it if you try to hook up a laptop with a mediocre graphics card. There are other videos out there to get this to work and use multiple inputs, but again – beware… You only get 1 HDMI and 1 Display port. It may not end up being as great of a monitor as you may think. Samsung support is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. I followed their directions and bought the Thunderbolt C connection and it still didn’t work. I hope this helps someone else out in the future.

UPDATE AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS: I am increasing my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because I am really overall impressed with this screen. Added a video review!I love this screen, it is nice and long but not too curved. I have it hooked up with an HDMI from my MacBook Pro. I wish the colours were slightly more vivid which is why I removed a star. They are good, but they are not as clear as my Macbook screen by a landslide. It is VERY heavy and made my IKEA table actually bow down in the middle of it. I needed to add extra support to my table because of this. I will hopefully be getting an arm for the screen, so that it can be mounted right to the table. That said, when purchasing this definitely keep in mind how HEAVY it is. The table that bowed is the one in the picture, and this thing is a sturdy table. I was really surprised that after a week on the table top it actually made my TABLE curved because it was so heavy. The response rate is amazing, and I am really happy with it for all things gaming, streaming, and for using it when I am editing videos and doing work.I give it a 4 out of 5 stars. I would buy it again. I think it was an awesome purchase and it makes my space feel special!

I first purchased this about 6 months ago from date or writing. Was great for a month until the capacitors blew and all video ports stopped functioning. I spent a month trying to get in contact to get a replacement only to be told I need to contact Samsung support, and so I did, only to have to contact them constantly to make sure thay actually do something. So I get through and set up the exchange, 2 months go by and I finally receive the new monitor with a crushed corner from delivery. So I spend 2 months contacting trying to get a replacement and finally I do. However, the screen is not even glued on the left side on this 3rd monitor! And yet I contacted showing evidence of this only to have waited for the last month to get no response again!TLDR; Got screwed 3 times, don’t buy!

Can’t believe I waited this long to buy an ultrawide. I’m an audio post professional and this massive monitor is wonderful to show my pro tools timeline.HDR on this thing is fabulous as well, both gaming and content consumption. No panel defects I can see. Did have a little trouble with the VESA threads and not all screws seem to connect all the way, otherwise flawless experience. It’s almost painful for me now to go into other studios who don’t have monitors this nice. Absolutely worth the price.
