Picture is beautiful
This is a great monitor. I have had a lot of Samsung monitors and TVs over the years, and I have been completely happy with them. This is no exception. This is my first curved monitor. The picture quality (DP) is outstanding! Ditto the HDMI.Downsides: 1) the VESA holes are in a weird place (I’d say about 1/4 of the way down), so mounting it has been an issue–bottom line, go for a taller arm. 2) it would be nice if it had more inputs. There are only two (DP and HDMI), so you’re limited for inputs; 2 of each would have been nice. 3) The plugs for the cables are a bit difficult to get in, but how often do you unplug them? If that’s important to you, then you should know that. That’s it. Everything else was a great value for the money.Do note that I’m not a gamer. I cannot comment on that aspect. No flickering and the brightness is great.

This monitor is great!
Easy to set up, good quality picture (very crisp), great value. This is a great monitor, a little more curved than my MSI monitor, but I still love it. Connection was easy, and there are lots of video quality settings (brightness, contrast, etc). The monitor on the left (pictured) is the Samsung.

Great Monitor, poor VESA mount.-Updated
Great Monitor, love to give it five stars except for the non-standard VESA mount. The VESA mount plate just won’t work with out major modification, or a adapter bracket that slots into were the stand is connected. Then there is the fact that the cheapest adapter on amazon is on sale for just slightly less than half of what I paid for my dual arm stand. I’m not a monitor expert so I can’t speak to any technical aspects, but I can tell you I love it . Its crisp and the details with full ray tracing look amazing. Got one for the wife as well She’s got a 9070xt GPU and I’m running a RTX3080 and this monitor does them full justice as far as my eyes can tell.Update: I was going to just live with the stand for this thing…Thing is my desk faces an open room, with dogs, Cats and grand kid the potential for my monitor to fall of the desk was too great. So first I was going to buy an adapter but wouldn’t you know, I can’t find one. Samsung can’t even manage to have the same VESA mounts on their own monitors. So pictured is my own adapter, No problem, just a drill, jigsaw, circular saw, some spare long VESA screws, wood screws, and a piece of reclaimed 3/4 inch plywood and a bit of foam padding (for spacing just a little insurance that the wood screws wouldn’t get though to the monitor) Tempted to drop the rating to 3 stars but I really like the graphics on this thing. Would I buy it again…Not sure, I love Samsung products but I don’t want to go though this little adventure again.

Amazing monitor. It has been one of the best monitors I have ever owned. The curve is perfect and the resolution is perfect for what I use it for. I cannot recommend this monitor enough.

Great Monitor for the Price with a few Control Quirks
Monitor with deep blacks and a great looking display, once you have it configured correctly…If you buy one of these monitors there are some things you need to know:- The controls are on the bottom surface of the monitor, in the middle. They are hard to see with the monitor upright, and you will need to use them to get the monitor setup correctly. It will not autodetect things like which input port you are using, and it may not get the refresh rate correct.- The monitor will complain when you switch it on if it thinks the configuration of either the monitor or the computer is not correct (especially with Macs). You have to dismiss this message using the controls mentioned above. Fortunately it goes away after a number of power cycles.- The surround looks “budget”All of this said, it is a very nice monitor for the price. I can’t fault the value for money.

Such A Good Buy
I’ve been really happy with it. The 1000R curve really pulls you into the action, and the 165 Hz / 1 ms specs make gaming feel smooth and responsive. Color and contrast are solid — games and media look vibrant. The build is nice, and the screen size gives plenty of real estate without feeling cramped.

El monitor es muy bueno, cumple con todo lo que especifica, la pantalla es hermosa y la curva no es ningún problema. En mi caso la pantalla no hace ruidos ni tiene defectos visibles todo llego en buen estado aunque la caja grande en la que te envÃÂan el monitor venia abierta o mal sellada y no tenia ninguna protección adicional como hule espuma o papel burbuja. Tal vez venÃÂa asàpara pasar fácil las aduanas porque el envÃÂo venÃÂa de USA a México, el dÃÂa de la entrega no llegó, tuvo un retraso de 1 dÃÂa pero finalmente llegó, la recomiendo para cualquier gamer.

Solid gaming monitor with excellent picture quality and smooth 165Hz performance. The QHD resolution is sharp and colours are vibrant.Only disappointment is the lack of built-in speakers. My Dell business monitor has them and they are handy for casual use. You’ll need separate speakers or headphones with this one.Otherwise very pleased with it. Good value for a curved gaming display at this spec level.
