Avoid Sysracks if your use needs to look good, quick installation, or solid construction.
Every single piece of metal was bent.This is my second Sysrack server rack I have. My first was a 24″ depth cabinet, but my next server was too deep for it, so I had to upgrade:It too had bent pieces. The shipping package was not damaged and the foam inserts were not mangled, so it appears that these pieces went into the shipping box bent.Every single piece of metal was bent in major ways. What should have taken 30 minutes to assemble ended up taking 4 hours. I had to bend every piece back into shape to put it together. Luckily, it’s cheap metal. With patience and muscle, you can get it together and close to square.The second star was because I could get it put together and it will serve its purpose.

Sturdy! Worth the time to assemble.
It’s a high quality build. Very sturdy. Comes with twofull length metal shelves, and a PDU – which is amazing at this price.Airflow looks like it will be fine. It is definitely deep enough to accommodate all of my servers.

Good depth, bent pieces
Pieces arrived bent/warped and borderline unusable. I had to rebend some of them for a rough fit. The glass door angle prevents you from fully utilizing the entire 15u space as you will have trouble screwing shelves, etc in. I was able to adjust the depth, which was nice.

Great product, and they package it to survive shipping.
Relatively easy to assemble. They packaged it really well. By the time FedEx got this to me the box was beat up with tears in the box and everything, but only the back panel had a small bend in it. It was easy to bend back like it never happened.

Solid construction, easy assembly, challenging shelf
I’m very pleased with this product, with a coulpe caveats.The directions were a bit sparse in a few places and the parts bags were not numbered as the instructions inferred. Fortunately, I’ve put a few racks together and basically knew what to put where. The double screwed corners (different angles) is a solid plus.–> Looks sharp, feels solid.Unfortunately, the shelf is a solid, non-adjustable item. OK if you place the mounts at the extreme corners, but then where is the cabling and D-ring cable management going to go…. I have the front server mounts 4.5″ back from the door. There is barely enough room to put the rear mounts in and have the shelf fit. I haven’t installed it yet.I don’t know how much I’d trust the PDU surge protector. I’m sure it will be fine behind a UPS or a high quality surge protector. I’m in a rural area, so power management is a concern.

Not very sturdy, doesn’t close properly
After mounting the rack and tightening all the nuts and bolts it is still very wobbly. Side panels work as advertised, giving easy and quick access to the sides. The back panel is a screw in panel, so it’s not easily removable. The major issues with this rack is the glass front panel: it won’t close properly. The latch for the front door doesn’t quite match the slot where it’s supposed to latch, so there is not way of closing it.I would not buy this again, but I’m waiting for a good second hand rack to replace it.
