Compact powerhouse – love this little keyboard
Been rocking this MX Mechanical Mini for a few months now and itâs honestly perfect for my setup. I was skeptical about going compact at first, but the space savings on my desk is huge and I adapted to the layout way faster than expected. The tactile switches feel amazing – quiet enough for video calls but still give you that satisfying mechanical feel. Way better than the mushy membrane keyboards I used to deal with. The key travel and feedback is spot on.Battery life is incredible – Iâm getting weeks of heavy use before needing to charge, and it charges fast via USB-C. The backlight is a nice touch for late night work sessions and looks clean without being distracting.Build quality is solid Logitech – feels premium and sturdy, not like some of the cheap mechanical boards out there. The wireless connection is rock solid, never had any lag or connectivity issues.Only took me a day or two to get used to not having dedicated arrow keys and function row, but honestly I donât miss them. The function layer works great and keeps everything compact. If youâre looking for a high-quality compact mechanical keyboard that doesnât compromise on feel or reliability, this is it. Worth the investment.ââââââââââââââââ

Premium Feel, Compact Form â Logitech MX Mechanical Mini
This keyboard delivers the perfect blend of mechanical key feel, wireless convenience, and premium build quality. The clicky switches are satisfying without being overly loud, and the compact size frees up desk space without sacrificing functionality.Pros:Excellent mechanical switches â tactile, responsive, and consistent.Compact layout saves space while keeping essential keys.Backlit keys with adjustable brightness for low-light use.Multi-device pairing works seamlessly across macOS, Windows, and more.Solid metal top plate adds a premium, sturdy feel.Great value and portability versus other top mechanical keyboards.Cons:None so far â performs exactly as promised.Notes from Use:Paired it with both a MacBook Pro and a Windows desktop â switching between devices was instant. Typing is a joy, with satisfying feedback and no missed keystrokes. The backlighting adapts well to different lighting conditions, and battery life has been excellent even with illumination on. The smaller footprint leaves more room for a mouse, which is great for tight workspaces.Verdict:A top-tier choice for anyone who wants a compact, wireless mechanical keyboard without compromises. Perfect for both productivity and casual use. 5/5 stars.Photos/Videos:Side profile highlighting low-profile switches.Backlit keys in a dim room.Desk setup showing the compact footprint.

Pretty good, still returning it though
This is a pretty good keyboard but in the end I returned it after trying a Keychron K10HE J1 which is my forever keyboard now. That’s not to say this is a bad keyboard. But if you’re a gamer, I don’t think this keyboard is going to impress with its feel or sound. For being branded as a “quiet” keyboard this thing sure is loud and clicky. If this is their “quiet” option, the other MX models must sound like AK-47s. It’s not bad if you’re into classic mechanical keyboards, but it just feels unremarkable and I just expected a better tactile experience for $160. While not comparable for gaming, I honestly prefer my Logi MK540 to this keyboard, and it was under $50 with a mouse combo. That said this keyboard does have some very good qualities. Despite having a plastic frame, it’s very rigid which I can appreciate since I often use keyboards in my lap. I also appreciated the convenient connection functionality as someone who switches between 2 different PCs with a single set of monitors & peripherals. It’s pretty good and I remain a rabid Logitech fan for all my other peripherals, but whether this keyboard is $160-good is arguable. For me the Keychron would have been my final choice even if it had cost more, which it didn’t.

This keyboard is pretty amazing. I own a HHKB, and a Pok3r. I build and customize my own keyboards. I bought this mainly because of the Logitech Flow feature. But first, I wanted to talk about the keyboard itself and why I think this is the best office keyboard to date. The build quality is amazing. It’s sturdy, and the internals are very tight, which means, no rattling, no added noise or reverbiation. As a result, this is a very quiet mechanical keyboard (I can only speak for the brown switch version). The keycaps are made out of recycled plastic, but they don’t feel cheap. They are quite smooth and easy to type with. The typing experience is very consistent and smooth (see type test photo). My typing speed is consistent with my other keyboards, but for me, it’s definitely feels much better to type with tactile silent switches compared to my other keyboards.Even though this keyboard is a low profile keyboard, there are flip up feet at the bottom of the keyboard to lift it up a little more to get a better angle if that’s what you prefer. The lights are nice, but what makes this keyboard really stand out is when it doesn’t use the lights at all. Without the backlights on, this keyboard can do 10 months on 1 charge, which is completely unheard of for a mechanical full size wireless keyboard. I’ve had this keyboard for a couple of days on the whole time, and by now, my other wireless 60% would have died and required a recharge. There is only one issue with this keyboard which is customization. For Macros, only some of the keys (F Keys and Cursor Targeting Group) can be customized vs what I am used to, which is being able to customize every single key. For customizing the physical look itself such as changing the switches or the keycaps, this keyboard cannot be customized like that. The spacebar doesn’t use standard stabilizer stem widths. You can replace every key cap except for the spacebar. You also cannot change the switches unless you know some soldering which is not recommended. As for the reason why I bough the keyboard. I absolutely love it! The logitech flow option allows me to move from my multiple computer setups with only one keyboard and mouse. I often multitask, I have a computer running 24/7 as my “smart tv” as well as my personal laptop, and my work computer. Considering how I can flow through all those computers from one set of mouse and keyboard without having to physically switch the mouse to use that specific computer is absolutely game changing. I feel like I am using one computer, even though they are all completely seperated.Whenever a product can make someone’s life easier, is when you know you have something truly revolutionary. For work and every day use, this is absolutely the best office keyboard to date.

The leftmost âshiftâ key is smaller and thereâs an unexpected key between âshiftâ and âzâ keys, which makes difficult to type fast.

Few things I like about it:1. Easy connectivity to switch between devices2. Minimalistic Design3. Good battery life.4. Personally, I like the feel of the clicky switches.Switches are ultimately a preference choice. Personally, I tried all three of the switches and these are my recommendationIf I were to rank them based on typing feel, it would be Clicky -> Linear -> Tactile Quiet.Clicky: Best typing feel of them all, can accurately feel that I have pressed the button, noise is a bit loud so make sure to check with people around you before you decide to purchase it.Linear: Feels like a normal keyboard, instead of a mechanical one. However, it is very smooth and nice to type as well, noise is the smallest.Tactile Quiet: The weirdest feeling out of them all, this is supposed to be a compromise between the two so maybe that’s why it feels weird, it’s not mechanical enough that you get that satisfying feel and noise every time you press a key. So sometimes I am not sure if I have pressed it. On the other hand, it is not smooth enough to have a normal keyboard feel.

Been using this bad boy for about 4 months. It is top quality and the typing experience is amazing. It is very quiet for a mechanical keyboard, so it is definitely office friendly.I only use it with the dongle and it is super fast. Never tried bluetooth (I heard people complaining about it but I cannot testify). The only thing that can be annoying is the layout. The lock key is top right, and when I type a phone number for example, I often hit the lock button instead of “-” so it locks me out of my session and I need to log back in. I heard of people disabling the lock button. I might try that and use Win + L to lock my session! Also, I heard users complain about the keyboard light closing when inactive, making it hard to use in a dark room. Personally, whenever my hands are close to the keyboard, the light has always been on + the light turn on instantly when you approche your hands and it is turned off. So not an issue I would say.

The Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Performance Keyboard is more than just a mouthful to say. It’s a powerful, flexible, and beautifully engineered piece of technology that promises to redefine your typing experience.Upon unpacking the keyboard, one cannot overlook the attention to detail. The metal construction and minimalistic design make this keyboard not just a peripheral but an elegant addition to your workspace. The solid build feels premium, providing an assurance of durability. One of the most noticeable features is the illumination of the keys. It’s highly customizable with the accompanying software, which lets you adjust the intensity and color to suit your preference or match your workspace aesthetics. The illuminated keys are not just beautiful to look at, but they’re practical too, making it effortless to type in dimly lit environments. As a wireless keyboard, it’s impressive how seamlessly it connects to different platforms, including macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, thanks to the Bluetooth and USB-C connections. The keyboard provides a solid connection without any perceptible latency – an essential feature for both casual and heavy-duty typists. Moreover, the battery life is commendable, lasting several weeks on a single charge under normal usage conditions. The standout feature, however, is the linear switches. Compared to traditional mechanical keyboards, the linear switches offer a smooth and consistent keystroke, reducing typing noise while maintaining that satisfying tactile feedback that mechanical keyboard users love. It makes typing more comfortable, reducing strain during long typing sessions. On the downside, it may take some time to adjust to the key layout. The keyboard is a full-sized one, which may be a bit daunting for those accustomed to compact keyboards. Some may find the lack of a wrist rest disappointing considering the keyboard’s price point. The software, although generally user-friendly, has a bit of a learning curve to fully utilize the customization options. It would be great to see some more intuitive controls and user-guidance for first-time users.Overall, the Logitech MX Mechanical Wireless Illuminated Performance Keyboard is a masterful blend of aesthetics, comfort, and performance. Despite a couple of minor quibbles, it certainly raises the bar for what one should expect from a mechanical keyboard. If you’re looking for a keyboard that offers unrivaled typing experience while enhancing your workspace’s look, then it’s well worth the investment.
